The Windrush monument made by acclaimed Jamaican artist Basil Watson was recently unveiled at London’s Waterloo Station, a location chosen for its significance in the migrations. Members of the Windrush generation and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also present.
To acknowledge and celebrate the thousands that migrated to the UK between 1948 and 1971 – we have designed and built a commemorative website commissioned by The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. The website contains comprehensive insight into the events of that period, the people, their experiences and their remarkable influence on the United Kingdom.
We built a highly secure government content management system that runs on the GovPaaS hosting infrastructure. GovPaaS is the British government’s cloud-hosting ‘platform as a service’, that is built and managed internally.
This project was successfully delivered by our team adhering to tight time frames and security protocols.
