Lancaster Patient Safety Research Unit was founded in January 2008; they have two aims. The first is to conduct world-class, high-quality research in patient safety. The second is to make sure that their findings are used in practice, to improve the welfare of people in North Lancashire and South Cumbria.
problem
Lancaster PSRU needed web representation to establish its presence across the NHS and similar organisations in other countries. They had a collection of data, white papers and qualifications which had to be accessible publically.
solution
Juicy Media built a Joomla! CMS site which reflected the design and style of Lancaster PSRU as well as meeting NHS specifications; incorporating Publications for download, FAQ’s, Biographies and contact details.
outcome
Juicy Media provided a client training package for site maintenance, and now Lancaster PSRU maintain their own site and are receiving growing attention from within the NHS.
