Detica required a secure and redundant architecture to provide the highest level of service for their new Joomla based website. Having heard of Juicy’s expertise through the Open-Source community, they were keen to ask our advice.
solution
Using the latest VMware based technology, Juicy Media created a redundant server solution with MySQL replication and hardware-based load balancers. Having many years of Joomla hosting experience, together with our ongoing support of the Open-Source community, we could easily identify common flaws that are introduced when running 3rd party Open-Source projects.
outcome
The now ‘live’ Detica website has had a 99.96% uptime over the 6 months the site has been live. As a result we’ve managed to increase the supplied uptime in the Detica SLA at no extra cost. Further to this, we provide frequent penetration tests on the application server with an aim to anticipate and thwart hack attempts.
